Marriage Visa Reminder Service

Get free email reminders for your Thai Marriage Visa expiry. Avoid overstay fines, immigration blacklisting, or rushed extensions by setting the date once and letting us remind you.

Enter the admitted until or permitted to stay until date in your passport.

We will start reminding you 3 weeks before the date.

What is a Marriage Visa?

A Marriage Visa (also called a Non-Immigrant O visa based on marriage) lets you live in Thailand long-term if you are married to a Thai citizen. It is one of the most common visas for foreigners staying with their Thai spouse.

What this free service does

This is a completely free reminder tool from Thai Kru. Enter your permission to stay date once. We will send you friendly email reminders starting 21 days before it expires. You can also add optional 90-day reporting reminders.

Why the date matters

Missing your Marriage Visa expiry can lead to overstay fines of 500 baht per day (up to 20,000 baht), possible immigration blacklisting, or being rushed to extend or leave the country. A simple reminder helps you avoid stress and extra costs.

Which date to enter

Enter the "Permission to stay until" date stamped in your passport. This is usually one year from your last extension or entry. Do not use the visa issue date or expiry on the visa sticker itself.

What to take when you go

This is a general list of documents for an extension of stay. Requirements can vary by immigration office.

  • Your passport with the current permission to stay stamp
  • Proof of meeting the financial requirement (e.g., 400,000 THB in a Thai bank account or proof of 40,000 THB monthly income)
  • Original Thai marriage certificate (Kor Ror 2) and copies
  • Copies of your Thai spouse's ID card and Tabien Baan (house book)
  • Photos of you and your spouse together at your home
  • A hand-drawn map to your residence

Rules change often. Always check the latest requirements with your local immigration office before you go.
